Grab a Hammer!

I'm a home improvement show lover. If it involves crafts, renovating, building, decorating,swap meets or antique hunting I'll watch it.(except for anything Martha Stewart, never could, never will. Who WANTS to live like that!)
My husband does not share this passion, but bless his soul,he has learned to live with the constant uproar I create. I hate to admit it, but I'm the messiest person in my house ,and I live in a house of boys. They may drag in and create the dirt and odors that accumulate, but I am solely responsible for the piles and projects that suddenly appear. He leaves for work in the am and by the time he walks in the door, three rooms in the house have been affected by an inspiration from one of these shows, and not one room is complete. That's because 3/4 of the way through my "inspiration" I kind of lose steam.
Things get completed, sometimes quickly, sometimes eventually. I forever have many things on the go.
The only thing known to get my husband off the couch during Hockey Night in Canada is me walking past him with a hammer.I found the remote control guide opened to "Channel Blocking"
Is A&E and TLC on his list?
