I just had the coolest thing happen. Most times I feel like technology is leaving me in the dust. Not today though. I just had a real time conversation with my godson who lives in London. Yep. I was working and all of a sudden a little thing popped up in the corner of my screen that said: Godson #1 is on line. I almost panicked.
OMG
The only conversations I've ever had in real time MSN is with my daughter who tricked me in to setting it up. So she can type things like " why are you up so late, old people should be in bed by this time" or " I know your not working, you're playing internet backgammon aren't you?
But I did not panic. I kept a clear head and pulled out my daughters hand written instructions on how to do this MSN thing. And I did it. I had a MSN coversation with my London cutie.
I AM cool.

WoooHoo! Way to go, Grandma... I mean, Hope! Good for you!
Pretty soon you'll be adding people to your MSN list and chatting into the wee hours of the morning while downloadnig music for your ipod!
huh
The woman just made it into the '90's. Let's not pile too much on her plate.
Hope dear, you have yet a decade to go. Perhaps you didn't get the memo, but we changed centuries a little over 5 years ago. (some people think it's six, but the centruy didn't actually change until 2001.) Don't worry though, your not missin' much.
