Spring is arriving Monday March 20th at exactly 11:58 AM
(That's tommorow, almost 24 hours!)
Being restless was exactly what I needed! I hopped out of bed and got to work.
So far, this is my "WELCOME LADY SPRING PARTY "CHECKLIST:
Now this is going to be one BUSY day for me, and I am just so excited. I have so much to do and all the while I do my Happy Dance.
- check the window handles, yep all working. A little stiff but they 'll open tommorow.
- reorganize shoe storage, mukluks to the back, all other 42 pair to the front, rubber boots, in hall closet
- collect all gardening magazines and seed packs purchased this winter( now known as LAST SEASON), pile on coffee table, covers up.
- throw snow shovels in back corner of garage and replace empty spot with lawn mower and gardening tools.
- Wash and place all winter outerwear, mittens, scarves, toques, boots and jackets into winter storage closet. LOCK
- Phone friend and arrange to pick up my ducks ( they live at her place in the winter... I've missed them!)
- remove last seasons survival kit from trunk, as well as all hockey sticks, pucks, rolls of hockey tape. Replace with soccer balls orange pilons ,umbrellas and folding chairs.
- look at all of last springs clothing. Separate favorites from fads, and start a list.
- Remove all socks from drawer and place in winter storage. I'm a bare foot gal
- Dig out copy of "The Joy of the Mud Puddle"
- Stock up on car wash coupons and windshield washer fluid, and laundry soap.
- Cancell work tommorow.
The list is intensive, but I just got a burst of motivation. Spring, tommorow. At 11:58 am.
Set your whatevers for 11:58 AM Mountain Standard time. When you beep, just know, I have survived another winter, and am falling at the feet of Lady Spring.
