Wise Words of my grannie:
When then President Jimmy Parter said that thinking of lusting after another woman was the same as adultery or something similar, I remember my grannie laughing.
"Well Hope, if that's the case, I'm burnin in Hell, along with everyone else. Sometimes thoughts pop in to your head. God judges on actions."
And, believing those words to make sense, I have not broken 6 of the 10 commandments, as well as the Golden Rule by thinking bad thoughts about my husband.
I would never really do those things.

LOLOLOLOL! I repeat that line every blasted day at least twice. If I only THINK it, then I am good to go.

You have a wise Grannie.
If I had a dollar for every stray negative thought about my husband...we'd be very rich. But on the other hand, if we had a nickle for every positive, kind thought I have about him, we'd be even more wealthy.
I think I have to experience the negative to really appreciate when he is making true efforts. :-)

Yes, I think a lot of us would be in trouble if we got judged on our inner monologues.

Hey, I realize I am stepping into a woman's blog world but I will say this. Every time I see a lovely woman I don't think of her sexually but I sure do admire her beauty. If that is a sin then here I be. The 5th commandment is the one I remind my kids about so their days can be lengthened somewhat.
