There was no spectacular sunset last night, a spectacular thunder storm from all the heat, but the sun had set when the clouds had lifted.
We spend the thunderstorm, not with a cup of coffee and a cozy quilt, but rubber boots and mud as we attempted to get the neighbors cows out of our garden and back on their own side of the fence.
Cows are slippery when wet.
We ended up muddy and cold, but damn it felt good, after all the heat.

I only WISH we'd get a good thunderstorm around here. It has been SO dry. This morning, we're getting teased with a light sprinkling, but it is far from enough.

I've read this five times and keep forgetting to tell you that when the camera is ready, I'll snap a pic of our sunset and post it on the blog.
