My extra large wheeled suitcase has been sitting in the middle
of our bedroom floor for a week.
Ready to hold anything and everything
I may need or want for my great big weekend....
at another hockey tournament.
Dad can't go, so it's mom and the boy on a road trip.

My girlfriend phoned a couple of hours ago,
she needed another suitcase for her trip to Mexico....
so, my suitcase goes to Mexico without me, and I try to cram everything in a small duffle.

I told her I wanted it back, full of sunshine.
She promised.

I'll have to settle for that for now.

Our hotel may have high speed internet, which means I'll visit you all.
Both my dial up and my lap top have been as sluggish as I these days.
I'll be away from work and home , which means I may have time to visit often,
perhaps even do a post a thon.
