Help,
I apparently am losing my mind.
I started out today, with plans to go to my son's
badminton tournament after school,
then drop him off at a friends for a weekend sleepover.
In my mind, because there was no school tomorrow,
today became Friday.
And I treated it like a Friday,
a sluff -off Friday.
I had a great day, a bit of quilting,
a bit of baking, catching up with friends
and I popped in
Peter Seller's "The Party",
( only my favorite funny movie ever)
while my son was still at school.
Badminton Tournament, went great,
the boys double team won and moves on.....

Walked out of the gym into a big freakin snow storm....
with a 30 minute drive.

an aside: (be on the look out)
... for some reason my weather girl
has been replaced by the Canadian Flag,
I think she's come to her senses and headed to Cancun.

But back to me losing my mind.....

so, I get home through the snow storm,
all tense and cold,
brew some coffee and turn on the laptop,
ready to post Friday leftovers and...........
my last post comes up saying it was posted Tuesday.......
Today's not Tuesday, I say out loud ......
That stupid blogger......
I posted that this morning , I assure myself,
then I second guess myself, (it has been a busy day.....)
as I flip backwards through my day.......
of course I posted that this morning,
and then I realized that it was a draft post
that I had started and didn't change the date......
whew, ok then, lets start Fridays leftovers.
Halfway through, my husband comes home
and I ask him,
"Are we still going to the auction tomorrow?"
"The auctions on Saturday" he says
"Tomorrow is Saturday "I reply.
"No, tomorrow is Friday", he says
I stare at him blankly, "very funny" I say,
having just come to the conclusion it was not Tuesday.

As soon as my husband pointed out there was no school tomorrow,
it all fell into place.
Today is Thursday, April 19th,
Steven Harper is Prime Minster, and
my name is Hope.

LOL.... so I push publish, view my blog and ta da..... I have posted it twice,
maybe things aren't as good on the mental heath front as I have convinced myself.

Well you are definitely not alone. I had to keep reminding myself of what day today was. It felt like it should be a Friday - and my children do have school tomorrow.

We got hit good with the snow storm in Cowtown as well. It was blowing sideways, not a pleasant thought or image for a Spring Day! I brought a scarf that wasn't sufficient instead of a hood, silly me!

Have fun writing tomorrow's Friday leftovers...I do enjoy reading them most of all. A snapshot into your life certainly personalizes the online community.

See what I mean? That was pretty entertaining and you wrote about something rather trivial...Thinking Blogger.

Oh yeah, I know those days.

A SNOW STORM? Oh man, I feel for you. Just DON'T send it this way. It's supposed to be 22 degrees here today and it's been above 17 all week. For ONCE Winnipeg is enjoying good weather while the rest of the country suffers.

I have had more than one of those days.

Yeah, I hardly ever know what day it is anymore!

I'm looking forward to those leftovers!
