Interview me........
finally getting around to this great meme.......
A day late a dollar short and one toke over the line.... (just kidding..... it just popped into my head.)
A long while ago gina posted this meme, designed to get to know each other better, and what a good way to do that. There are things I am dying to know about you all. She asked me these questions, and I am delighted to answer.
When your last child moves out of the house, will you throw a party or curl up in a corner?
I got a similar question asked of me when my son headed off to kindergarten, and I did indeed do "the dance of joy" when the school bus drove off with my last precious child. You have to understand that when my son turns 18, My husband and I will have parented for 35 joyous years.
I think that's reason for a party.
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
I would move the clock back 100 years or so, retain the knowledge we have now and give us all a second chance to do the right thing, (and let women have an equal say in the political process of the time.) That's one thing, isn't it?
What is your favorite game to play?
I am not a sports person, primarily because I lack the coordination and enthusiasm for sweating without purpose.I love board games and at the moment I'd have to say I'm playing a lot of Backgammon. All time favorite.... dice games.
Where would you most like to go on vacation?
Spain. We hope to retire there. Egypt as well, if they ever stop the middle east crap.
What was your most recent blissful moment?
So, I have to admit I cheated here. I read the question and thought, dammit, I haven't had a blissful moment since this "renter"stuff started. So I took a step back and created one. .
Take out East Indian Curry, on the deck, in the sunshine. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.......
so that's it for this interview........
Here are the rules, if you would like to be interviewed
1. Leave me a comment saying, “Interview me.”
2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.
or, if you'd like some questions answered, toss them my way.

Interview me...I'm in a big time slump and I bet that would help!!
I didn't ask Gina because she has so many readers.
Great answers by the way! I have a feeling your questions will be tough to answer!
Interview me too.
I didn't ask Gina either. It was a bad time to try to answer any questions without "the world is falling apart around me" as the answer.
I like your answer to the last child moving out of the house. I agree..such things should be celebrated. Not just the time and the work, but the people our children are becoming. They are amazing beings and I wouldn't want to hold them back by being sad.
Ok, hi, Oshee and Liz, I could have interviewed you!
Hope, I am so saddened by your last answer. I was wishing it might put you in a better place for a little while, but it didn't really work.
oh dear, gina, let me clarify.... your question did exactly as you intended. I really did create a blissful moment, read your question, hit myself over the head, called the order in, drove into town and ate a whole order of extra spicy chicken curry and balsamic rice. on the deck. in the sunshine. really.:)
I don't get the chance to visit many blog sites, but yours is a favourite, why not let you interview me.
It would be fun, though not likely many people would read it as my visitors are few and far between some days.
When Wee One graduates from high school, hubs and I are going to be ready to retire!!!
Im gonna throw a party...not just a graduation party either...
Interview me!
Spain! Egypt! I loved reading these things about you. Wonderful meme.
