My daughter made me write this!

My daughter read through my blog today, and guess what she noticed. My only mention of her in the whole darn thing was that she left home. I intend to correct this now. My daughter is our first born. She was our challenging child, from the moment she entered the world 3 weeks early and bum first. This birth caused joint problems, traction and casts for the first year of her life, and she spent time in and out of the hospital, after finally she was pronouced "perfect".
At the time we raised our daughter,I was in college for Early Childhood Education, and her dad was in Rehabilitation Studies. She challenged everything we thought we knew. She taught us alot.
She was bright, stubborn, independent, vocal and had to know and do everything, right now. She was sassy, and charming and bold. She was confident and bossy, and could talk her way in or out of anything. She still is, all of these things, more polished now, with the softness age brings. The qualities that she displayed as a child serve her well as a young woman.
Today she raises our beautiful grandaughter, as a single parent. Our granddaughter came to us because my daughter chose to give this beautiful girl a new chance and a forever home. She is a wonderful mother. She is a beautiful, confident woman. We are proud of you.
