I did kind of a silly thing when my husband was gone. I didn't know it was silly, but it turned out it was. I bought a paperback by an author I often read, without reading the back cover. If I had I would have waited til my husband was home to start it. The book is about an anchor woman who gets fired, because she is getting older. Her best friend dies mysteriously. She sets up a BLOG and is soon being ...... stalked.
Let me set the stage:

  • I have a very active imagination
  • I live in the country far from neighbors
  • We have alot of windows
  • We have all kinds of pets that go BUMP in the night
  • My son snores and snorts in his sleep.
  • Some of our sliding doors don't lock
  • My husband was gone

And, like the book:

  • I am getting older
  • My best friend just left me (She moved but close enough) AND
  • I just set up a BLOG

Spooky deja vu

Wisdom would have told me to wait, as soon as I started getting chills, as I read. But, I was hooked. I had to find out my, I mean the characters , fate... so I continued to read, and fret and jump, for two days, until I finished the darn thing, and made sure I, I mean , she was safe. I'll have to re read it when my husbands home, cause I skipped half of it.

This is another thing I've added to my do not do this again list.

Now see... that sounds like something I would do. (the part about over-relating to the book while hubby is away, not the salking thing.)

Sounds like a good book. What was it?
