I had to remove my last two posts, because for some reason my profile disappeared when I posted them, try as I might to edit them, my profile would'nt appear next to them, so I have them saved as drafts. And my profile returned.
These posts were really rants, because I was frustrated. I was in an accident, the lady lied, there were no witnesses, and it took a long time to convince my insurance company to investigate.
Oshee left a comment about liars, saying that although the insurance crap was frustrating, the lying was worse. I agree.
I want to share a story, another one of my "Kid truths"
When my son was 3, we had a beautiful chocolate lab named Chester. I had just walked out of the living room, leaving the boy on the couch, and the dog curled sleeping at his feet on the floor. A few minutes later, I heard a huge growl from Chester and a wail from the boy. I ran into the room, to find the boy holding his head and crying, " Chester bit me,"
A good examination found only a great deal of dog slobber and tears. When he was calm, I asked what had happened, as this was a side of Chester we had never seen.
Mom: What happened?
Boy: Chester bit me
I need to know what happened
I only remember that Chester bit me
You need to tell me the truth
I don't want to tell you ALL the truth, only the END of the truth, Chester bit me.
Well, ALL the truth turned out to be that my son had done some spring board bounces off the couch, landing directly on the poor sleeping dog. And Chester bit him.
We had a talk that day about the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and we still use the term, "The End of the Truth", to describe times when people say things that are true, but leave out big important parts.

That's a good one. I like that. Smart kid. And what is it with boys and dogs? My 4 year has almost been nipped twice by our dogs because he is sooo bloody rough with them. From the time he could walk he's been like this and no matter what we say or show him he still ends up being rough.

That might be a blog in itself.
