I have a confession and a decision to make.
I need to eat less or exercise more.
And the truth is I want to do neither.
Hiding under winter clothes I really didn't have to face the truth, but these spring clothes ain't hiding anything.
Problem is, I've never dealt with this before. I've been one of those people you love to hate that can eat anything, whenever, and burn it off doing whatever appeals to me.
I do eat healthy, but I have no clue what calories are in what, other than recalling my friends restrictions when they are dieting.
I hate formal exercise other than yoga and long walks.
For a while I was blaming it on the cut of new jeans, the ones that have 3 inches of denim from crotch to waist. Of course I was going to flab over the waist band... Now I'm finding myself hunting thru a closet full of size 10's that are pinching and gapping.
I will not give up my old jeans. They are my friend.

Don't give up on the old jeans. If you do, it's too easy to do it again.

You don't have to do traditional exercises. There's always belly dancing. lol
Seriously, try just dancing (any kind) in your living room for 1/2 hour a day.
As for eating, if it tastes good, avoid it. And dont' eat for at least 3 hours before bed.
There, now if I could only follow my own advice.....

There isn't anything necessarily wrong with what you are already doing. Just take more of those long walks. Cut back serving size of the already healthy food you are eating. Of course, I am not one to live such advice, so take it as you will.

Hope....To truly make your day and help you lose a few pounds, I offer you this wonderful little sight....

I am standing in front of a full length mirror, wearing only a tiny pair of cut-off jeans, am chomping away on two glazed donuts at the same time, and am gleefully practicing my obese American Southern Male Belly-Dancing to the glorious sounds of KC and the Sunshine Band.

If that doesn't help you shed a few....

Nothing will!

No need to thank me....I'm just here to help!

Have a great day!

I'm with you on keeping the old jeans. It's just that I keep my old jeans in Rubbermaid containers. They exit the closet when it's clear that it'll take more than a couple of days of chugging water and walking a few blocks to fit back into them.

My latest thing was to buy a pedometer. You're supposed to take 10,000 steps a day. That's a lot of steps! I got up to 3,000 yesterday......

Good luck!
