The Cree Princess Diaries




This weekend we planted. The Cree Princess was in charge of the peas, which are large and easy to handle. I was in charge of the cree princess.
Gamma, why do the peas have to be in a straight line?
The garden is planted in rows so it be easy to weed and walk through.
But the peas don't want to be in a straight line.
What do the peas want to do?
They want to be peas.
That's why we put them in the ground so they can grow, and we can eat them
No... they want to be peas and Q's and R's.........
And so we made an alphabet patch.... a small corner in the half acre plot where we spent an hour making alphabet letters out of peas before gently pushing them in the ground.
