In a society that doesn't demand that men parent their children,
I'd like to thank all of you that do.
I've been lucky that I've had stand up men in my life, and I think we are losing ground in our society, when we think women can parent alone.
So to all you unsung heroes, who love and respect your children's mother, who work hard to be a great dad, I salute you.
Happy Fathers Day.

You are right Hope. Society today has forgotten how vaulable a father is. I could not even imagine rasing my sons with out my husband. He gives them what I can not. Mothers give sons compassion, empathy, and comfort, amoung a few other essential things. Fathers teach boys to be men! A father for a daughter is so important to, because the father shows the daughter how men should behave and treat them. My counselor once said to me. Mothers raise boys, where as Fathers raise men. It is sooo very true, and so very important.
