As previously posted, I've had to make some adjustments to my driving.
On my first day of my new driving habits I noted:
- I don't know most of the posted limits, I had to look for signs. Usually I just go as fast as I need to.
- When using your cruise control, it is really important not to sit on your feet, just because they are not busy at the moment.
- When using cruise control, you can use both feet to tap in time to the music.
- Cruise control is not autopilot. You still have to pay attention.
- Only farmers driving farm equipment ( and me) use the right hand lane.
- I must leave 10 minutes earlier than normal, to be on time.
- My son constantly asks, "why is everyone passing us", "shouldn't you put your flashers on?" as well as "are you going to have to go this slow forever?"
- I feel mildly superior to all those passing me, I can't believe they don't respect the speed limits.
- It is hard to listen to Jimmy Cliff on your CD player when traveling only 100K. It just doesn't seem right.
Being a law abiding citizen is tough.

Ain't it, though?
lol about the feet.
YEah it tough...Don't drive 100K on the 401 or anywhere in Québec'you'd get creamed.
;)
Unless my hubby is coming and he always has it at 100K
Mind games.... that's what you need.
Go quite a bit slower than the speed limit for a while (not too slow or you'll get a ticket for that. heheeh).
When you finally do the speed limit again, it will feel faster.
