i am not trying to impersonate ee cummings.
i am , at best, a 4 finger typist, two on each hand, when i'm on a roll.
using only one hand, i can not possibly hit the shift key to capitalize....
currently my left hand is tied up,
having been on hold for 87 minutes and counting......
i've tried doing the thing where you hold the cordless between your ear and your shoulder,
but unless i hold it with the right pressure, in the right position, it shoots off my shoulder, crashes on the floor and the battery pack pops off.
i can not lose my place in this line.
the nice lady has continuiously assured me that my call is important to her,
and that calls are answered in the order thay are recieved.
no way i'm hanging up.
i have learned things i could never have guessed about the services my satellite company offers.
i know the pay per view schedule by memory for the whole next month.
my left hand is numb, and my two remaining typing fingers tire....
i am still on hold............................

oh my! I hope u talked to someone soon after posting! I have NO patience for being on hold, I usually hang up and try to do whatever it was online...
Too funny. At least you're not sitting in a little kiosk in the store-front of the company whose customer service you're on the phone with. Or are you?
Being put on hold for at least 87 minutes should be a punishable offense.
OH that is too funny. Did you ever get her to take your call? Sheesh I would have given up. Your patience is much better then mine.
I hope you finally got an answer...and that you aren't still on hold (its Saturday morning now...) I've been there and that holding thang ain't fun!
My husband started the call before he went to work. He handed it off to me when he walked out the door.
I unloaded my dishwasher, checked on my links,took a stroll or two around the deck.wrote the post, poured a couple of cups of coffee, and was just trying to see if the cordless reached my flower garden when a real person answered.
Our service appointment is the end of October. The boys in my family will have to live with 4 channels for the next 3 weeks, or watch the satelite that blacks out every minute or so.
I'm buying a handsfree unit before I ever attempt to do that again.
This blogger stuff is ticking me off as well... I can't even make a comment on MY OWN blog without entering my user name and password!!!

Awww Hope you and my hubby should get together He did the same thing while racking wine. He was on hold with ONE praticular PHONE company for over 2 hours. He would NOT loose his place and then gave it to them with both barrels. Our cells have not worked right yet.
