Just a quick question:
Does anyone else get tempted to stop when they see a disgarded box or bag along side of the road, just to see what's in it.?
There is a box on my way to work that is driving me nuts.
My humane side tells me it's a box of poor little kittens that need a home.
My CSI side of me knows it contains a dead body.
And the side of me that has dignity is afraid someone I know will drive by and think I am garbage picking.
What to do, what to do.

oooo..now you have me curious..
now you have to stop and look just to let us know. You can tell yourself you are doing it for the betterment of blogdom.
Well shoot Hope now you have to go see what is the box, cause now I am curious! sheesh, what if it is something important? lol
i'll be back tomorrow to find out what is in the box...
Just STOP for pete's sake - never mind the nosy neighbours! :-)

I would stop, for the same reasons you have.
I would be like you hope. Wanting to be brave enough to stop but too afraid that the nieghbours me see me looking through the garabage.
tough call honey...whatta gonna do?
Just catching up on your earlier posts...ya know, I always wonder the same thing and I sometimes stop. And if I were you, I would stop and look (when nobody is looking or passing by) - I too get embarassed about stuff like that - but not enough usually to stop me from looking . My dad espeically has found TONS of useful stuff - a shrink wrapped DVD, box cutters, tools, etc. lying on the side of the road. If its not dangerous to stop, I would do it! I am always picking stuff up and let me tell ya - one time there was a cash envelope lying in a parking lot (when I was in college..) and I picked it up, thinking it would be empty. Thee was almost $100 in there! No id, no account, no way to tell whose it was and nobody was missing any money taht I heard of, so I kept it!!! I always check those cash envelopes, even though they are most likely empty. You just never know!!!
