While watching Rock Star: Super Nova, I could not get the box, and liz's comment out of my mind.
So at 11 pm, I told my husband that I was going to check it out.
I would never forgive myself if the (as I have convinced myself) 5 furry little kittens, mewing for their mother, slowly starved to death while I was in my cozy bed.
The conversation went like this:
Hope: I just gotta check it out, I won't be able to sleep.
Husband:**&*(*&$%###%%^&&***((@@$(+&^%"?(&% Are you nuts?
He got THE LOOK.
I was already in my car when my husband came out and said, "I'll do it."
Now not to say I don't trust my husband, but I have suspected in the past that he has done things just to placate me.....
Are you really gonna check it out?
Yes I'm really gonna check it out.
Bring me the box. Unless of course it contains a dead body , so take your cell phone to call 911.
He sighs, and we exchange places, me back to my cozy bed, him into the dark night.
We now have an empty air conditioner box, complete with all the styrofoam packaging and plastic sitting on our back porch.
So the mystery is solved, and you know one more reason I love my husband.

I was just lookin' around here in vast blogland and I stumbled, ironically, on to your blog, stumblingahead and I really liked what you said in your profile and especially what you said summing up your blog:
Life is like a piece of paper on which every passerby leaves their mark.

Blessings to you!

Oh good, all is right with the world. Seriously. That box was driving me freakin batty. Glad it's not kittens or a dead body. It would have been nice if they left the AC IN the box though.

Yeah Husband!

LOL This had me laughing so hard cause I know I would have done the same thing. I also know that my husband would have gone out and checked out the box for me just to get me to settle down! LOL Yayyyy that there were no kittens or a dead body in that box!
