And so this is Christmas......
and what have I done?
Another year over,
and a new one begun.....
This last week of the year for me is certainly one to look back, smile, evaluate and adjust.
The past year is exactly what I made of it, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
I've learned that regrets are only useful to serve as detours the next time around.
On the surface, it appears that today
the only decisions I've made are
what homemade bath fizz to put in the tub this morning
and what new pajamas to dress in for the day.
But appearances can be deceiving,
I am not only a woman , who at 3pm ,
is sitting in front of her laptop,
dressed in brown polar fleece jammies,
smelling like Hawaiian Sunrise bath fizz (heavy on the pineapple).
I am also a woman, deep in thought,
of what was, what is, and what can be.
I love these contemplative times.
This year, I've decided to post my goals for the upcoming year.
Dr Phil always says, "You have to name it, to claim it"....
I agree, but I also think that putting
my goals out there will add to my accountability.
So, in no particular order, this week,
I will post my goals for the upcoming year.
Helping me review my year, gina did this on her blog.
I copied the first sentence of the first post of each month,
and scarily enough,
it is fairy representative of my days gone by:
*Years ago, a study was done with newborn monkeys.
*November it seems has turned intoNO BLOgPOsts on this site, Month.
*A gorgeous, brisk autumn Sunday.
*I may have alluded to it in the past, but here it is in black and white.
*Despite my protests to the contrary, I must admit that I do far better with a planner, a schedule and a to do list.
*I have high speed!!!!
*I am terrified of mice.
*And so I shall whine......
*See you folks after lunch.
*March, roars like a lion
*Yesterday we received our prosperity cheques.
*For me, this stage of my life , holds endless possibilities for refining my spirit.
So bear with me this week, as I ponder and wander.

So did you make that homemade bath fizz? That sounds intriguing!
I'm looking forward to your ponderings.
Your list was awesome, so very representative of your year!
I too, am in a pondering phase right now.
I think January tends to make a lot of people ponder. I know I do so most years. This year I is no different. I too shall be posting a list. I love your idea of taking the week. I also love your list. What a wonderful list.
I hope this coming year is one full of blessings and happiness for you and your family.
