Oh my. I haven't visited myself for a while and when I do,
my technologically advanced Advent Calendar screams.....
17 days til Christmas.
I wish I was more into the ho ho ho mode,
but the truth is, I'm more looking forward to the time after Christmas,
when my son is out of school and we can take a breather.
The last of my online shopping has arrived. A total success.
Since I had them all gift wrapped, all I have to do is place them under the tree.

I has an angel moment this week, a near accident on very slippery roads. While I was sliding towards the rear of a Ford truck, stopped on the highway, I felt the slightest grab on my tires, and my car came to rest sideways, so close to his truck that I could not open my car door.
When I got out and looked at the stretch of highway, it was sheer ice, so slippery that no one could walk without holding on to their vehicles.
and I absolutely knew an angel had been watching over my son and I.
My son however, took off his headphones,
put down his game boy and asked... "why are we stopped".
