My daughter had let me know that
the Cree Princess had, all on her own,
made my Christmas present.
I've proudly worn it since opening it.
Tonight I talked to her on the phone.
Are you wearing your necklace ? she asked.
Yes, I assured her.
"That's good" she said, "I made it for you
so you would remember
your flower garden and the butterflies....... "
In 2007, I will, each day ,
appreciate the precious gems in my everyday life.
