I read some blogs every day, for different reasons. I read Lord of the Idiot's because he makes me laugh, and I like the values that are between his witty lines. I won't be reading tommorow. Tommorow he has given me fair warning that he will post pictures of speedo clad men.
Speedo clad men, or the thought of speedo clad men cause anxiety attacks for me. My doctor says it is likely post tramatic stress syndrome. Rather than take medication for these anxiety attacks, I choose to alter my environment. I stay away from speedos.
The incident that has caused me flashbacks happened at the lake a few years ago, while we were visiting friends. I was sitting in a lounge chair, and around the corner, came the neighbor.
Me: lounge chair, tee shirt and shorts.
Him :standing, speedo ,outstretched hand, Hi, I'm Jimbo.
Me: scrambling to get out of chair and change my line of vision.
Him: Let me help, and pulls me up
Me: Stuck in web of chair, and chair collapses, I am on the ground. Looking up.
Thus the flashbacks, and it ain't pretty.
So readers, I'd like YOUR opinion
Women: of all ages and maritial staus:
What are your thoughts on hetrosexual men who do not swim competatively wearing speedos?
Men ( as described above) who wear speedos: WHY?

I think that they are apalling and disgusting and men who wear them should be beaten about the head with small domesticated housepets. Even worse, people who post pictures of this filth should be strapped to a chair and forced to sit through 48 hours of unedited "American Idol" highlights.

I'm not too hip on men in Speedos. Well, if they guy has a good body, it's not too bad. But most men that wear one do NOT have a body for it.

I think speedos should be banned truthfully speaking. Maybe it is because of my own abuse and trauma, but I am sorry I think it is disgusting! I am sorry you had such a nasty experience!
