A while ago, I wrote this post.

I had no response to my ad.
My daughter is dating a wonderful man, but alas he is an electrician.
We own a couple of rental properties.
9:30 pm last night: franic call from the girl who lives in the basement suite.
Water is pouring into her living room:
diagnosis: broken pipe in jet tub. cost: 657.00, on overtime.
7:30 am this morning: frantic call from house two: tub faucet broke off, hot water pouring into tub. 5 hours later the plumbers still there.
So I thought I'd pull the post up again.
My daughter's sort of taken, but if the right plumber came along......

Oh no!
Man, owning properties and all the problems that come with them can suck.
We have a hard enough time fixing our own stuff, not to mention other places!
hmm water and electricity dont mix hope, but a sparky in the family is a good thing, plumbers have to do smelly jobs stick with the sparky ;)
Sa'de
Oh man, Hope! I can't believe I wasn't reading you in February, but that linked post made me laugh so hard I had to run to the bathroom. Talk about a mom with leaky pipes!
You are one hilarious woman! Good luck with your pipes!
hello just wanted to stop by , and say hello I am the other hope from arkansas.
Yeah, but just think - if she ditched the electrician and hooked up with the plumber, by Murphy's Law all the electricity would start shorting out in your properties.
Yeah, I agree. You should see the house the Roto Rooter man built! very nice, big....
But, atleast theres a demand for Electricians...always will be :)
