9:12 am, as I turn on my computer.
Minus 29 C ,
the howling wind takes it about 6 degrees colder.

You can bet I'm staying in today.


Grab a cup of coffee, I got a lot to say.

I wrote that yesterday, I grabbed a cup and that's as far as I got.
I think this cold weather numbs more than the body.

Later today my husband and I are headed to the mountains for the weekend.
3 days in beautiful Banff National Park.
We are so fortunate to have this wilderness just a few hours away..
While some of those with us will ski and snowboard,
others, like myself have spa treatments, outdoor minerals springs,
cozy fireplaces , good books incredible food and
breath taking scenery on the agenda.

I'll take my camera.
